Former President Nana Akufo-Addo has a eulogy for the passing of Sam Nujoma, Namibia’s first president and founding father.
In a post shared on “X” (formerly Twitter), Former President Akufo-Addo, eulogized Nujoma as a heroic leader of African liberation, whose legacy would continue to inspire generations.

Akufo-Addo extended condolences to President Nangolo Mbumba, the people of Namibia, and Nujoma’s family, stating: “I join many Africans around the world in conveying my condolences… His life will continue to be celebrated for laying the foundation for a strong nation.”
Namibian President Nangolo Mbumba confirmed Nujoma’s passing in a statement, noting that he had been hospitalized for the past three weeks due to an illness from which he “could not recover.”
