Mohammed Abdul-Salam
The Northern Regional Secretary of NDC, Mohammed Abdul-Salam has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), by the President of Ghana, John Mahama.
A viral statement signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, noted that the appointment took effect on Wednesday, January 15.

Abdul-Salam’s appointment comes after the resignation of Sammi Awuku, who is now the Member of Parliament for Akuapem North constituency.
In a letter dated January 13, Mr. Awuku asked the President to appoint a replacement to ensure a smooth transition and handover.
