Real Madrid was humiliated after a thrilling 5-2 victory Super Cup Final against their long-time rivals Barcelona played in Saudi Arabia.
Kylian Mbappe gave Real Madrid an early opener, in five minutes in the Spanish Super Cup final to score his first goal against Barcelona.
After the goal gave Real Madrid the early 1–0 lead against Barcelona, Lamine Yamal equalized for Barcelona.
Robert Lewandowski’s 36′ mins penalty also gave Barcelona the lead followed by Raphinha’s brace 3-1 lead against Real Madrid in the 39 & 48 minutes.
Alejandro Balde also got a spectacular goal for Barcelona to double the lead.
A free-kick goal from Rodrygo gave Real Madrid a consolation in the 60 minutes.
Barcelona was reduced to 10 men after goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny’s dismissal in the 56 minutes but was able to secure their record-extending 15th Spanish Super Cup title.
